After 28 years of working in a sometimes very stressful, corporate environment as a HR Specialist, I made the decision to follow my passion into Reflexology.
I am a qualified Clinical Reflexologist and a Member of the Association of Reflexologists.

REFLEXOLOGY
Reflexology is an ancient, safe and effective holistic therapy which activates the body’s own natural healing abilities, and seeks to bring all systems of the body into balance. A reflexologist is trained to use a series of special pressure techniques to soothe or stimulate reflex points on the feet, face or hands which correspond to all the structures, tissues, organs, glands and systems of the body. During the treatment, the reflexologist is able to distinguish areas of imbalance within the body and effectively treat them in order to restore balance and well-being.
WHAT DOESN'T REFLEXOLOGY DO?
Reflexology is not a therapy used to diagnose illness. It is not a medical treatment and does not cure, instead it facilitates healing within the body. Although reflexology works very well alongside conventional medicine, it should never be used in place of seeking professional medical advice. If you have any concerns about your health please always consult your doctor in the first instance.
The Association of Reflexologists, of which I am a a member, have produced this short video to help explain Reflexology. The Association of Reflexologists have been the foremost independent Association for Reflexology in the UK since 1984.
FACIAL REFLEXOLOGY

You will be with me for 1 hour.
Reflexology is a very easy therapy to receive; depending on the type of reflexology, the most clothing that will have to be removed for a treatment to take place will be your socks and shoes. Firstly, I will refresh your feet with hot steamy towels and work on balancing the reflexes with pressure techniques so that you can drift off into a state of relaxation.
A full medical history will be requested on your first treatment, and you will be asked to sign a consent form for treatment. This information will be kept confidential.
CRANIAL REFLEXOLOGY - BERGMAN METHOD

After gently cleansing and relaxing the muscles of your face with hot towels, I will apply an organic facial oil suitable for your skin type. During the treatment I use gentle pressure to stimulate reflex points on the face incorporating massage and natural facelift techniques to help smooth any wrinkles and rejuvenate the skin. This treatment is slow, gentle and soothing which means most clients find the treatment extremely relaxing, and drift off to sleep! My mission is for you to experience a sense of inner calm, a deep feeling of well-being and benefiting from a glowing and rejuvenated complexion.

Auricular Reflexology is a therapy that stimulates specific points on the outer ear, which correspond to different areas of the body. There are over 200 acupoints on the ear which are used in Chinese Acupuncture. In Auricular Reflexology we use a selection of these and by applying pressure, it can help restore balance and may influence the nervous system. Instead of needles, finger pressure and ear seeds are used.
